During the training, you will learn to communicate collaboratively. The focus is on raising awareness of body language and recognizing key indicators. These skills are indispensable when proactively maintaining public order.<\/p>\n
The SDR\u00ae method relies on the human ability to recognize deviant behaviour with our primal instinct. During the training, the participant will learn to become aware of signals that will become instinctive when facing deviant behaviour. With a solid foundation based on behavioural indicators, you will learn to effectively respond to deviant behaviour as opposed to ethnicity or other external characteristics.<\/p>\n
The training provides insight into unconscious personal prejudices. After the training, the participant will be able to handle this professionally.<\/p>\n

My story begins in 1984, when I started as a combat medic in the Israeli army, serving in high-risk areas.<\/p>\n
My time as a medic (or as a combat soldier in general) hugely impacted my life. After my three years of service in the Israeli army, I developed an interest in security in general. That’s why I joined the Israeli police in 1989. During my time on the force, I learned a lot about human behaviour. Analysing this information has provided considerable support during my surveillance in high-risk areas. I have learned that recognizing deviations in human behaviour at an early stage plays a vital role in the safety of our society.<\/p>\n
After my career with the Israeli police, I became a private investigator specializing in fraud and damage prevention. In 1995, the Israeli Security Service asked me to ensure the security of the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi, India. During my work there, I became aware that the inability to recognize behavioural and cultural differences can cause miscommunications.<\/p>\n
In 2014, I decided to become an entrepreneur and founded ISCA. ISCA is an academy for both safety training and knowledge sharing within the European Commission Studies. It was a great experience to be part of that. During my entrepreneurship with ISCA, I developed my very own Behavioural Profiling method. Because of this, I launched SDR\u00ae-Academy (Search, Detect, React) in 2012. With SDR\u00ae-Academy, I developed various projects to implement my method and started collaborations with organizations such as the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee at Schiphol, the Dutch Railways and the Dutch Police in numerous regions. For our implementation of the SDR\u00ae method in Schiphol, we received the 2009 Security & Safety Amsterdam Project of the Year Award.<\/p>\n
